The owner, Derek, is good about explaining everything clearly. We felt confident that he took care of us as if we were his own family members.

Amazing service done on 2009 Honda Fit, accommodated us coming in early before opening and even stayed past closing to do the final checks and make sure everything was good to go. Very knowledgeable and transparent in breaking down what he replaced, and showed us the wear and tear of the old suspension & brake parts. He broke down the prices for parts and after searching around locally we concluded that his prices were pretty fair and reasonable. Considering that if you were to bring in your own parts they would have to add a little additional labor hours to compensate for. I have another vehicle that I will need serviced and i will for sure be coming back. Mahalo Derrick 🤙

Derek is amazing! Very honest and felt in great hands. I dropped my car off and he kept me in communication of everything. He even offered different options for me price wise and apologized when he believed I was inconvenienced, which I never was. Very friendly and warm staff. Told me I could call if any issues came up. I will definitely be recommending and coming back here!

Trust the rating, it's well deserved. The amount of care and integrity that went in to Derek's and his daughters service are absolutely unmatched. He explained every single thing in detail about what parts he replaced called me for my preferences, detailed the hours. My truck had MULTIPLE issues after the wheel bearing gor FRIED and I knew it. It wasn't something I had the expertise or patience for and I definitely trusted the right one with the task. Replaced both wheel bearings, calipers, and rotors and didn't charge me for the labor of the rotors or calipers. You can tell he takes alot of pride in the shop and the genuine care you get from him I assure you is unmatched on the island. I'm definitely returning with some baked goods and a sincere thank you. ❤️

Been taking both my cars to Island Brake and Alignment for a few years! Pretty busy shop. For this recent visit, I came down in person to schedule an appointment and he had an opening the following week. Upon drop off, Derrick said he was running 20 min behind, but he took care…he performed the alignment himself! Stood around for an hour and he was done! Awesome job, mahalo Derrick!
